Reading Camilla Cavendish’s piece “Consumers must fight for the right to repair” (Opinion, August 5) made me smile with pleasure. As a dyed-in-the-wool feminist in my 60s, I regard any appliance or contraption that doesn’t seem to function with any common sense as “designed by a man”. Sorry, but there it is.
