Reading Lunch with the FT with the English author Katherine Rundell (“‘Attention is the thing we owe most to the world’”, Life & Arts, October 1), I decided to put her call to be more curious into immediate action.
I put down my copy of the FT and looked around me from the café terrace in Las Setas square, Seville. Lo and behold, there on the wall beside me was scrawled: “If you stop for a moment and look at the stars, you will realise that you are nothing and you are everything.”
